American rapper Meek Mill has reportedly been sentenced to 2-4 years in prison by a Philadelphia court on Monday for violating his probation

It was reported that Mill was immediately taken into custody on Monday after the unexpected sentence by the judge who cited a failed drug test and unapproved travel, from his 2009 weapons and drug case.
Recall Mill was arrested twice this year, for getting into a fight with two airport employees at St. Louis airport, and also got arrested in August for reckless endangerment while driving in New York city, though the cases were dropped.
According to reports, the judge has worked with Mill since nearly a decade ago, when the rapper was convicted and jailed for eight months and later placed on probation in 2008 for gun and drug charges. In 2016, he was placed under house arrest for 90 days after violating travel restrictions.
