24 hours after having intense social media battle with Wizkid, Made Men Music Group (MMMG) recording artist, Tekno has taken a stroll down the path of American female rapper, Nicki Minaj by giving out to the needy.
In May, Minaj doled out money on Twitter for college tuition, student loans, books and other supplies.
The rapper was tweeting about a contest related to the Billboard Music Awards when she came across a tweet from someone asking her to pay their tuition.
Reacting to the tweet, the American rapper said: “Show me straight A’s that I can verify w/ur school and I’ll pay it. Who wants to join THAT contest?!?! Dead serious. Shld I set it up?”
She took requests for about 45 minutes, bantering back and forth with people about specifics and working out details to get the money deposited. To one fan who asked for a grand, she replied, “That’s it? I’ll send it tmrw. dm me ur bank info babe. Next!”
Toeing the same path, Tekno who produced Davido’s hit single IF, took to micro blogging site, Twitter on Friday, July 7 to announce that he was giving out N5 Million Naira to the needy.
According to the Bauchi State born musician, the sum will only cater for students who are unable to pay their school fees as well as individuals who are into small and medium scale businesses.
Tekno noted that no fewer than five people will be credited per day, calling on those in need to send him a proof of the current situation they are in.
