Cell C gearing up to take on Dstv, Showmax and Netflix with their new video-on-demand (VOD) platform – Black.
The entertainment-packed platform will have latest movies, documentaries, music, and local + international TV series.
Users are able to buy daily, weekly or even weekend content. Cell C users/customers can pay for content with prepaid airtime.
Pricing for the platform varies depending on what package you choose but the most expensive package is R389 per month, which includes all streaming content and most other content but excludes new movies that you will need to buy or rent for an extra fee. One subscription allows access to up to five devices, two of which can be watched simultaneously.
Cell C will reveal the service on 03 November and will officially launch the service on 14 November 2017.
The platform will be available for both iOS and Android users, as well as Android-powered TV.
