The Kaduna State Ministry of Health on Monday said the state has recorded 14 new cases of COVID-19.
The breakdown of the recorded cases showed that a community in Kaduna, Sabon Tasha in Chikun Local Government has nine cases, Kawo in Kaduna North Local Government has four, while one case emanated from Kinkinau in Kaduna South LGA.
The Government said it has adopted measures to reduce the increasing number of cases among the residents.
The measures according to the commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Mohammed Baloni included washing of hands, use of sanitizers, wearing of face masks and adhering to social distancing rules
She said residents in the state were told to report any suspected cases in and around their environments to the authorities for quick medical attention.
DAILY POST recalls that, since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Kaduna State, residents have been indoors 24 hours with only Tuesdays and Saturdays temporary lockdown days for the restocking of food items.
But before the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations, the grace period for shopping and temporal movement was moved to Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
