On Saturday, 25 April 2020 – the number of confirmed coronavirus COVID-19 cases in South Africa has climbed to 4 361, confirmed by Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize.
This is an increase of 141 cases in one day.
In addition, death cases have also increased, now with a total of 86 people dead due to coronavirus.
Western Cape is now the epicenter of the outbreak with 1514 confirmed cases, followed by Gauteng with 1304, and KZN with 847.
The total number of COVID-19 tests conducted to date is 161 004.
Globally, coronavirus cases moved to more than 2.84 million, with more than 199,000 reported deaths, and 803,000 recoveries.
